International Journal of Orthoplastic Surgery (IJOPS) is a peer-reviewed, international journal, looking to publish the very highest quality content in the emerging cross-disciplinary and cutting-edge field of Orthoplastic Surgery.
Orthoplastic Surgery is defined as the principles and practices of both specialities applied to a clinical problem either by a single doctor or team of providers working in concert for the benefit of the patient. The field represents an active research front and includes; Orthopaedics, microsurgical reconstruction, oncology, allotransplantation, wound healing and reconstruction of upper and lower extremity injuries/defects.
The journal seeks to be inclusive and appeal to not just surgeons, but physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and all those involved in the multidisciplinary management of orthoplastic patients.
