International Journal of Orthoplastic Surgery (IJOPS) is a peer-reviewed, international journal, looking to publish the very highest quality content in the emerging cross-disciplinary and cutting-edge field of Orthoplastic Surgery.
Orthoplastic Surgery is defined as the principles and practices of both specialities applied to a clinical problem either by a single doctor or team of providers working in concert for the benefit of the patient. The field represents an active research front and includes; Orthopaedics, microsurgical reconstruction, oncology, allotransplantation, wound healing and reconstruction of upper and lower extremity injuries/defects.
The journal seeks to be inclusive and appeal to not just surgeons, but physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and all those involved in the multidisciplinary management of orthoplastic patients. We aim to publish basic science, clinical and translational articles.
